ahhh we love you Canas, and thanks to take time out to write that wall of text, and to let us know your reasons why you can't play with us.
You have my absolute support, studies and r/l always needs to come first and I'm glad you can recognize that it might hamper your study results if you play Aion.
I know some can play Aion on the side and still can live up to their potentional in their studies, but they most likley do not have as strong an interest as you have in animes or mangas, needing all their free time for that.
Just remember you don't need to be playing Aion to come to Vent. You're still part of our virtual family and we always enjoy your company to chat to.
Okay, I finally decided to post what my plans for Aion are when it hits retail. I decided that I will not be playing Aion anymore and/or for when it gets released in the United States. The reasons are because I have school, and it is my last semester. I'm very close to cum laude, and would very much like to get cum laude. As a result, I need to focus more on school and an MMORPG would only hinder me in doing so. Also, if I play a Aion and have school on top of that, I would not have time to watch anime, read manga, or play console or handheld games. I'm primarily a console/handheld gamer.
Another thing, Excite mentioned that she thought I already knew about how Aion would affect school and my other hobbies when I got interested in playing. Well I just have to say that I thought I would have been willing to take in the benefits and detriments with playing Aion. But then I changed my mind when I got back into anime mode. Even if the anime I'm watching currently isn't that great, I still enjoy them. And there's also the chance I watch that rare amazing anime that becomes one of my all time favorites. It's the same way with manga and console/handheld RPGs. Another thing I want to point out is that MMORPGs have never made me play for very long. For instance over the span of three years, I played Final Fantasy XI sporadically for 3 months.
So there it is, my reasons for leaving, I enjoyed my time very much while I was with you guys. I wish you guys the best of luck. I'll still probably pop in Vent once in a while to keep tabs with what is happening. And also let you guys know how and what I'm doing. Sorry for the wall of text.
Also I am raelly torn between SM and Templar. I like the role of tanks in PVP not soo much in PVE. WHY of why can't I just kill Elyos for all my Exp. : (
Supposedly, an upcoming release will let you.
